What is the Certificate 3 Guarantee?

The Certificate 3 Guarantee supports eligible individuals to complete their first post-school certificate III level qualification and increase their skills to move into employment, re-enter the workforce or advance their career. It also supports Queensland’s Year 12 graduates to transition to employment by providing fee-free training in high priority qualifications. Training is subsidised by Queensland government and is paid to the PQS (RTO) who is providing the training. Each student must pay a co-contribution fee towards the cost of the course.

It is important that you consider and compare your training options and ensure they align with your chosen career pathway.

What is the User Choice?

The User Choice program provides public funding to PQS training providers for the delivery of accredited entry-level training to apprentices and trainees. The program works in conjunction with the Commonwealth Australian Apprenticeships System, under which apprentices and trainees (also known in some jurisdictions as ‘Australian apprentices’) enter into legally binding training contracts with their employers and receive structured training to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
